About the Word Scramble Game
Word Scramble is a spelling game for children. Letters of a word are mixed up and the child unscrambles them, with picture hints. You can choose a category such as animals, fruits, colours, school things or body parts, or play a mixed set of 10 or 15 words.
Unscrambling words builds spelling, vocabulary and problem-solving. Hint reveals help, Skip moves on when stuck, and Check confirms the answer. Parents and teachers can use categories to match a topic being learnt. Encourage children to look for common letter patterns.
How to use it
- Choose a category and number of words.
- Press Start game.
- Type the unscrambled word and press Check.
- Use Hint or Skip if needed, and Play again at the end.
